Over 120 players attend National Billiards & Snooker Championship
(VOV) -As many as 122 players from 14 cities and province across the country are participating at the ongoing 2013 National Billiards & Snooker Championships in the southern province of Binh Duong from June 1-8.
Some of the competitors completed the first round of the tournament in the central city of Hue last March, while others are those who performed well in 2012.
They will compete in eight events, including one and three cushion carom; eight, nine and ten ball pool; snooker and nine ball pool for women.
Host Binh Duong, which will participate in all events except for snooker, is considered a strong candidate for medals.
The championship aims to select best players for the national squad to prepare for the upcoming 27th SEA Games in Myanmar and other international competitions.
