The event is expected to attract a large number of universities and colleges from the US, with 73 scheduled to show up in Ho Chi Minh City and 41 in Hanoi.

The Institute of International Education (IIE) Vietnam, the exhibition organiser, began its operations in Vietnam in 1997, known as an affiliate of the IIE, an independent non-profit organisation set up in New York in 1919 to promote peace and understanding through cultural and educational exchanges.
