The Ministry of Education and Training and Japanese electronic group – Matsushita granted Panasonic scholarships to outstanding Vietnamese students in Hanoi on October 2.

The receivers are Nguyen Thanh Duong, a graduate from the Hanoi University of Natural Sciences, and Truong Thi Kim Tuoi, an assistant lecturer from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences.

The 2003-2008 Panasonic scholarship programme is sponsored by the Japanese government and Matsushita group for outstanding Vietnamese students. Each year, the Japanese government selects two best Vietnamese students and offers each around US$80,000 for three-year studies in Japan.
