The event was organised by the Nguoi Lao Dong (Labourer) newspaper to honour music, stage, cinematography, fashion and television artists.

In particular, singer Dam Vinh Hung won three prizes for the most favourite in folk, traditional revolutionary and light music, while Cam Ly and Thanh Thao received prizes for folk and light music female singers, respectively.

Hoai Linh won a prize for the most favourite in comedy, and Vo Minh Lam and Le Khanh prizes for drama artists.

Other prizes, included Television MC for Phan Anh (in Vietnam Idol 2010 TV show), Movie actor and actress for Ly Hung and Lan Ngoc, Television film actor and actress for Phung Ngoc Huy and Van Trang.
