An oil painting exhibition by Overseas Vietnamese Tran Minh Quang and Marie Fossard opened at the headquarters of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in France in Paris on December 1, capturing the great attention of French visitors.

On display are more than 20 oil paintings vividly featuring the beautiful landscape and daily lives of Vietnamese people.

Painter Tran Quang Minh said he wants to introduce images of daily lives of Vietnamese people in different regions to international friends.

Meanwhile, Minh’s colleague, Marie Fossard, left Vietnam when she was just eight years old. Her mother is a Vietnamese and her father is a French. She said: “I really want to draw pictures about Vietnam’s landscape when I visit my motherland. I want to see rapid changes in Vietnam, where I had many sweet memories during my childhood.”

The exhibition will last through December 16.
