An opening ceremony entitled “Wave” imbued with sea features brought visitors with a love of nature and local life.

The reasons behind the ceremony are fish worshipping and dancing, known as part of fishermen’s life, which have drawn the participation of 250 professional and amateur artists.

The week-long festival began with a splendid firework display and a wide range of activities.

This is the third time Khanh Hoa province has held the Sea Festival with a special programme of 60 items, including a street festival on June 10, human chess displays from June 11 to 13, a fish worshipping ceremony on June 15 and “Nha Trang Festival -  rendezvous” 

*** A photo exhibition entitled “the beauty of aloe wood land” opened on the same day and will run until June 15. 200 photos by 52 photographers from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Phu Yen, and Khanh Hoa feature the beauty of aloe wood land, Nha Trang swallow sea and Khanh Hoa.
