The Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee on April 6 held a press briefing to introduce the 2007 Nha Trang Sea Festival scheduled from June 9-15.

Under the theme “Civilisation- Friendliness-Hospitality”, this year’s Sea Festival will cover diverse activities including festivals, exhibitions and fairs imprinted with national cultural identity.

Festive activities such as the Stress Festival, the Cau Ngu (Fish) ceremony, a kite-flying festival and an exhibition on XQ embroidery pictures will take place during the sea festival.

Held every two years, the Sea Festival is a cultural and festive activity, highlighting traditional and contemporary cultural values of the nation in general and Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa land area in particular.
