Ngo Phuong Lan, a Vietnamese student in Geneva (Switzerland) was crowned Miss Vietnam Global 2007 who also won the prize for the best conduct in the final contest in Nha Trang City on September 2.

With her successful answer to a question of conduct, Ngo Phuong Lan surpassed 36 other beauty contestants from different countries around the world to become Miss Vietnam of the first Miss Vietnam Global Contest.


The first runner-up title went to Teressa Sam from the UK and the second went to Dang Minh Thu from northern Nam Dinh province. 

The same day, the jury also announced beauty sub-titles such as Miss Photo, Miss Tourism and Miss Beach and various prizes for contestants with the best performance, the best traditional dress wearing and the best complexion.


On this occasion, the Organisational Board donated VND200 million to the fund for AO/dioxin victims and th e “Paying Debts of Gratitude” fund for young volunteers in south central Khanh Hoa province.
