Nghe An Museum collected and preserved 41 Dong Son bronze drums for decades.

The first drum was discovered in Chau Cuong commune, Quy Hop district in 1959. In 1973, another nine bronze drums were excavated in Nghia Dan district.

Others were uncovered in Dien Chau district and Vinh City.

The collection of bronze drums is expected to be a special feature in Nghe An Museum, introducing tourists to a particular aspect of Vietnamese culture.
