The stamp set, designed by painter Dang Minh Vu, has a modern style featuring the image of a small rat dancing with a branch of green leaves and red flowers.

There are two designs measuring 37 x 37 mm with the face values of VND800 and VND8,000. They were selected by the Vietnam Stamp Company from a nationwide contest.

The stamp set aims to add more colours to the collection of philatelists and exemplify the cheerful new year atmosphere.
