The Netherlands’ economics, cultural and educational potentials will be highlighted during Netherland Days between October 13-16 in Ho Chi Minh City, Dutch Consul General A. Van Zealand said at a press briefing on October 11.

The event is part of activities to be held in Vietnam to mark the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Netherlands.

An exhibition of photos on famous landscapes and major projects of the Netherlands and photos on the relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam over the past 33 years will open the first event of Netherlands Days in Vietnam.

Alongside a performance of modern dances and ballets by Vietnamese artists, who underwent training in the Netherlands, a film show and a series of Dutch time-honoured games targeting children will be held during these days.

A forum for businesses operating in such fields as water and energy, agriculture, navigation, infrastructure development and the environment will also be organised. The forum is expected to bring together 100 Vietnamese enterprises and 11 giant Dutch businesses.
