The Hanoi team took the lead in the men’s events, followed by Tay Ninh and HCM City, and the Army team topped the medal tally in the women’s event, followed by Nghe An and Hanoi.

Nearly 300 martial artists from 28 taekwondo clubs of 25 provinces and cities across the country had competed in two different age groups (14-17 years old and above 18) for 44 sets of medals in performance and combat events.

The four-day event was co-organised by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation (VTF) and the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
