After 10 days of competition, the first prize went to the university sports group from HCM City, and Hanoi and Danang took second and third place, respectively.

Bac Ninh University of Sports and Physical Training won the championship as the top school at the competition, earning 29 gold medals, 27 silvers and 17 bronzes, followed by the HCM City University of Sports and Physical Training with 15 gold, four silver and three bronze medals, and Danang University of Sports and Physical Training with 12 golds, nine silvers and six bronzes.

Athletes competed in eight events at the festival this year including volleyball, taekwondo, football, basketball, chess, badminton, tennis, track-and-field and national defence sports.

The competition, held every four years, aims to promote comprehensive education for students and strengthen mutual understanding among universities.
