The exhibition is planned to be hosted in Hanoi on the occasion of National Day on September 9 and in Ho Chi Minh City next October.
Photographs taking part in the competition must be in black and white, focusing on the beauty of Vietnamese people and country during the process of renovation and integration in fields of economy, politics, society and national security. They need meet the criteria of displaying a beauty and harmony between their composition and colour.
The organising board highly appreciates the research and creativity in the way of expressing photographers’ ideals.
Members of the Arts Council can send their own photographs to be selected and attend the exhibition but they aren’t permitted to participate in the competition.
The 25th national photographic exhibition is part of a host of activities for photographers throughout the country to celebrate Vietnam’s great festivals and respond the movement “Study and Follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”.
