National archery tourney opens in Hanoi
(VOV) -More than 100 archers from across the country have gathered in Hanoi to contest the 8th National Junior Archery Tournament at the National Sports and Physical Training Centre on August 3.
The week-long event will feature outstanding archers from the 15 teams of Hanoi, HCM City, Haiphong, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Bac Kan, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, and Can Tho.
The athletes are competing in singles and teams events across distances ranging from 30m to 70m for women and 30m to 90m for men.
The tournament offers Vietnamese athletes to sharpen their skills and demonstrate their worth to national squad selectors ahead of upcoming regional and international competitions.
