Thirty-four local music composers and many other composers from such countries as the US, Singapore, Indonesia, France, and the UK will participate in the event, showcasing their works created since June 2005.

Themed "Hue-Vietnam timbre", the music camp will give priority to music works on Hue-Vietnam that use traditional Vietnamese music and aim to serve music schools and Vietnamese arts troupes.

This is the first time an international music camp will be hosted in Vietnam.
