The two famous paintings, Binh van by painter Le Huy Mien and Tan ca moi chi em di hop binh tho gioi by painter Nguyen Do Cung, have recently been returned to the National Museum of Fine Art after two months of restoration work in Germany.

The 100-year old Binh van painting is the first Vietnamese oil painting.

To date, the National Museum of Fine Art has successfully restored three famous pictures using advanced technology, including the two above-mentioned pictures and Em Thuy (Little Thuy) by late painter Tran Van Can.
