An exhibition opened at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi on August 17 to showcase more than 200 documents, images and artefacts related to Hanoi’s resistance wars in the 20th century.
The exhibition is divided chronologically, including some documents, maps and images about Hanoi before 1945 and during the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans beginning from 1945, with a focus on the 60 days of deadly fighting to protect Hanoi starting on December 19, 1946.
There are also the images of the nation’s reunification and Hanoi healing its war wounds, restoring its economy and integrating into the international community.
