A troop of 800 monkeys live on the island is a 15-minute boat ride from Luong Son Beach in Nha Trang. They are cared for by a management staff that is responsible for taming the monkeys and preventing the spread of any disease.

There are also rabbits and salamanders on the island but the monkeys are the most popular attraction.

At the festival, children will play games including painting clay statues, meeting the characters in the story of the monkey warrior, ride ostriches and kayak.
