The qualifying round of the Miss Vietnam Jewellery 2007 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 13 for southern contestants and in Hai Phong on October 20 for contestants in north-eastern areas and in Hanoi on October 27 for contestants from central Quang Binh to northern provinces.
The organising board will select 30 contestants to compete at the final on November 14.
Miss Jewellery will receive awards worth VND225 million and a trip abroad. The first runner up will be presented with VND170 million and a trip abroad while the second runner up will receive VND50 million and a trip.
The organising board will award prizes and gifts to the winners in the categories of Best Conduct, Best Photo, Best Ao Dai and Best Evening Gown. In addition, awards for designers include Golden Hands (VND50 million), Silver Hands (VND40 million) and Bronze Hands (VND30 million).
