Duong Ky Anh, head of the organising board and editor-in-chief of Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper, said that for the first time the pageant will be held in the model of Miss World.

Poet Duong Ky Anh also said that a website will be launched sometime next week to help users vote Miss Vietnam.

Prior to the finals, four small contests will be held to present tittles: Miss Photo, Miss Sports, Miss Sea and Miss Friendship.
