Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori will host the presentation show of this year’s beauty pageant at the Crown Convention Center in Vietnam’s coastal resort city of Nha Trang on July 8, according to the event’s organisation board.
The Japanese woman has joined 80 contestants from countries and territories for this year’s Miss Universe pageant and various charity programmes.
Riyo Mori presented gifts to women affected by HIV at the Green Nha Trang Club and went to visit minority people in Khanh Thanh commune of mountainous Khanh Vinh district.
At the Gala night at Vinpearl Resort on July 5, her portrait made of gems, financed by the Than Chau Ngoc Viet company, was auctioned at VND580 million for charity.
The Japanese beauty will co-host the primary contest with Nguyen Khac Nguyen, an experienced presenter for a number of television programmes.
