The contest, which is part of Ninh Binh Cultural Week 2008, opens for candidates aged between 18 and 25 from Ninh Binh province.

Contestants must be 1m62 tall and have an attractive figure. They will compete in two sections: costume and conduct.

The first round will be held at the provincial house for culture and information on April 7, while the final round will take place during the traditional Hoa Lu festival on April 14 with the 10 best candidates taking part.

The winners of the contest will go on to join a pageant contest for the most beautiful girls in Vietnam’s ancient capital in 2008.
