Minh triumphs at Chinese Taipei Open
(VOV)-Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has claimed the Chinese Taipei Open title after defeating the host Tien Chen Chou 2-0 in the final match on October 7.
Minh easily dominated the first set and finished it 21-11.
He then faced fierce resistance from Chou but still managed to settle the second one 21-17 to conclude the match in 42 minutes.
This is Minh’s second title this year after the Open Yonex Sunrise Vietnam Open in Ho Chi Minh City last August.
