Minh has 51,094 points, a little lower than the 13^th Son Wan Ho from the Republic of Korea (51,405).

The list of 17 top players remains unchanged as August saw no important international competition but the tournament in Vietnam, which did not attract many strong opponents. Minh, who was then the World No.11 took the lead.
