Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has retained his 11th position in the world rankings, according to the Badminton World Federation.
The top three positions are occupied by Olympic gold medalist Lin Dan of China, silver medalist Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia and bronze medalist Chen Long of China.
The HCM City-born player, who failed to go through from his qualifying group at the ongoing London Olympics, will compete at the US$50,000 Vietnam Grand Prix Open from August 21-26.
