Minh jumps two notches to WBF No.8
(VOV) -Top Vietnamese player Nguyen Tien Minh has moved up two notches to rank 8th at the World Badminton Federation (WBF) December rankings.
Despite his improved rankings, Minh is not eligible to attend the Super Series Masters Final for top ten players as he was absent at two out of this year’s 10 compulsory Super Series events.
He will maintain his position until early next year as there are no more competitions in 2012.
Minh is now 656 points less than Japan’s Sho Sasaki, who also advanced two positions to No.7, and 718 points more than his follower Du Pengyu from China.
Malaysia’ Lee Chong Wei still shows his absolute domination to claim first place in the standings.
