Minh enters All England Super Series quarter-finals
(VOV) -Badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh crushed India’s Verma 2-0 in his second match of the All England Super Series on March 8.
Minh easily dominated the match, finishing both sets with the same score of 21-19 after 42 minutes.
In the next round he is scheduled to face the tournament’s toughest opponent, world no.1 Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia, who recently beat China’s Wang Zhengming 21-17 and 21-19.
Minh could only beat Wei once in 2009 against Wei in a total of 10 matches.
