The publication is to commemorate the late Vietnamese president’s 120^th birthday on May 19.

Mr Anaya praised the merits of Ho Chi Minh, who is Vietnam’s national liberation hero, and highlighted his thoughts and exceptional talent in mobilizing the masses, training and organizing cadres, as well as in diplomacy and military strategy.

The PT General Secretary declared that Ho Chi Minh’s ideology will live forever and Vietnam will remain a bright example for all nations in the world.

Senator Anaya stressed the importance of this publication of Ho Chi Minh’s works, saying this should be done on a regular basis so that younger generations will know and understand him and the Vietnamese revolution he inspired.

The book collects Ho Chi Minh’s political writings from 1920 to 1969, which were selected by the PT’s Central Committee and divided into five main categories. The collection begins with an introduction by senator Anaya and a brief profile of Ho Chi Minh.

Mr Anaya presented a copy of the Spanish collection to Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Van Que.
