The Vietnamese shooting team to the champs includes outstanding athletes such as Xuan Vinh, Quoc Cuong and Minh Thanh, who are considered Vietnam’s top seed.

The event will be a good chance for them to qualify for the 35 quota places at the 2012 London Olympics.

At present, the marksmen are meeting for training at the National Sports and Physical Training Centre in Hanoi.

On December 25, they will leave for a one-month intensive training program in the Republic of Korea.
