Luxembourg performance marks diplomatic ties
(VOV) - The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra performed with classical and modern jazz pianist, Francesco Tristano from Luxembourg, in Hanoi on June 21 to mark the 40th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son emphasized that the two nations have organized a number of cultural and cooperative activities to mark the anniversary.
The deputy minister expressed the hope that the two countries will continue promoting their cooperative relationship in many fields to match their potential and positions.
Luxembourg ambassador to Vietnam Marc Thill highlighted the strong development of the Vietnam-Luxembourg relationship over the past 40 years while saying that he hopes the concert will introduce Luxembourg’s culture to Vietnamese audiences.
