In his opening speech, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Council for Theory and Literature & Arts Criticism, Associate .Professor, Phung Huu Phu said the seminar aims to gather important opinions on the development of literature & arts over the last few years and raise public awareness of social changes in literature &arts.

More than 60 reports presented at the event will focus on the four major topics: Theories on the reality of life; trends and achievements; shortcomings and weaknesses; and solutions and proposals.

They will serve as a good foundation for the Literature&Arts Association, the Council for Theory and Literature & Arts Criticism, and other relevant agencies to make proposals to the Party and State for the development of literature&arts in the future.
