Le Quang Liem defeats top Russian chess master

(VOV) - Grand master Le Quang Liem won important success before his Russian rival at the first match of the third round at the World Chess Championship which is being held in Norway.
Alexander Grischuk – Russia’s seed No1, bagged two gold medals (team event) and one bronze (individual event) at Olympic events.
The 29-year old chess master earned blizz chess world champion titles twice in 2006 and 2012.

His success at the first leg will make it easier for Liem to compete with Alexander Grischuk at the second leg, which will finish on August 19.
