Late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet and his revolutionary life are portrayed in a photo exhibition which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 16 by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Vietnam Photographic Artists' Association.

On display are 86 photos by VNA photographer Ngo Minh Dao, who was assigned to snap the late PM during his domestic and overseas trips between 1992-1999.

The photos are arranged in 6 categories: portraits of the late PM, the late PM with other Party and State leaders, the late PM with foreign leaders, the late PM with business and cultural circles, and the late PM in his daily life.

The photographer also presented a pictorial book recording Mr Kiet’s activities to his son, Phan Thanh Nam.

Mr Kiet was born in 1922 and passed away in 2008. He was involved in revolutionary activities for more than 70 years and made many great contributions to the cause of the Party and the nation.

The exhibition will last through November 23.
