•  Music exchanges foster Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia ties

This is a major cultural event to mark the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012 and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The company will join Vietnamese artists for the programme's opening at the Hanoi Opera House on July 17^th, which will include a musical concert, dancing, a fashion show and a chorus of Vietnamese songs.

The Lao artists will also sing a song in praise of President Ho Chi Minh composed by Lao musicians.

The gathering will feature the unique Lao culture and highlight the special historic solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

This year, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Laos ’ Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism have organised simultaneous Laos and Vietnam culture days.

The two events will feature works of art, acting performances, film screenings, exhibitions and workshops to promote popular and cultural tourism destinations in both countries.
