Lam Dong to host 31st National Table Tennis Champs
(VOV) -As many as 107 players from 14 clubs across Vietnam will attend the 31st National Table Tennis Championships in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong from April 23-28.
They will compete in seven different events, namely men’s and women’s team, individuals and doubles and mixed doubles.
Hai Duong, Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, the Military Club and Ho Chi Minh City are considered potential candidates for medals at the tournament.
Head of the Organizing Board Luong Xuan Duc said the championships help select best athletes for the national squad and mark 38th years of National Unification Day (April 30), International Workers’ Day (May Day) and Late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19).
