Two movie stars from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun, will be in Vietnam next month, when their TV series entitled “My Princess” is to be aired on a local channel.

After the appearance of many Korean singers and actors in Vietnam in 2011, Vietnamese fans will have a chance to see Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun in their first visit on January 6.

Both movies stars will hold a press briefing in Hanoi on January 7 before leaving Vietnam.

Born in 1980, Kim Tae Hee is known as Korea's ideal woman for her well-educated background and natural beauty.

Starting her career in entertainment as a model and in television commercials, she rose to fame for her role as Han Yoori in the drama series “Stairway to Heaven.”

In 2003, Kim won the Best New Actress award for her role in “Stairway to Heaven” given by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). One year later, she received SBS’s Popularity Award for her role as Lee Soo In in the drama “Love Story in Harvard.”

In 2009, she won Korean Broadcasting System (KBS)’s Excellence Award for Actress for her role as Choi Seung Hee in “Iris.”

Song Seung Hun was born in 1976. He started his career as a model in 1995 and began acting in sitcoms and TV dramas in 1996. He has been known for his roles in Korean dramas like “East of Eden,” “Autumn in My Heart” and “Summer Scent.”

In 2009, he was awarded the Talent Division at the 17th Korean Culture Entertainment Awards.
