An exhibition entitled “Seems to be nothing” is displaying 18 lacquer paintings of artist Le Thiet Cuong at the Korean Cultural Centre at 49 Nguyen Du Street in Hanoi.

After Cuong’s exhibition, which will last until September 23, the Korean Cultural Centre plans to hold other exhibitions of works by famous Vietnamese artists who have made great contributions to the artistic exchanges between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The centre will also organise an exhibition themed “Exchange between 20 Vietnamese and RoK artists” in the RoK in October.

Le Thiet Cuong, 45, is one of the best-known painters of Vietnamese contemporary fine art. His paintings have been showcased in many famous galleries in the world, including those in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, the US and the RoK.
