The presentation ceremony took place in Hanoi on August 13 to acknowledge his contributions to cultural, sports and tourism exchanges between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Keum Gi Hyung said during three years of living in Vietnam he was very impressed by recent cultural exchanges between the two countries in preparation for the London Olympics 2012.

Vietnam and the RoK successfully co-ordinated in voting for Vietnam’s Halong Bay and the RoK’s Jeju Island to become one of 7 new World Natural Wonders, he noted.
