Japan’s traditional festival of Satkuki opened at the Giang Vo exhibition centre in Hanoi on May 8.

The highlights of the festival include traditional arts such Yosakoi dance, Kendo, sword-fighting, and Chado, tea ceremony.

The Samurai Kendo wins the hearts of Vietnamese people because of the noble spirit of Samurai that would rather die in glory than win in shame.

The Yosakoi dance is performed by 7 dance troupes from different Vietnamese universities.

They also have the chance to taste different kinds of sushi.

The festival provides an excellent opportunity for both Vietnam and Japan to learn more about the traditional cultures of both countries.
