Big names from the Japanese and Vietnamese youth music scenes are to perform at charity concerts in Hanoi (December 28) and Ho Chi Minh City (December 30) as part of a programme named “A million hearts - one rhythm”.

Among them will be Shinobu Tomura, the Gypsy Queen, and Ayuko Hayano, who will introduce their own brands of Japanese contemporary music to Vietnamese audiences.

Vietnamese singers Ho Quynh Huong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Ha Anh Tuan and Luu Huong Giang will also perform at the event, which is being held to raise money for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange.

The concerts have been co-organised by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
