Japanese TV Fuzi has shown a special entitled “The Ambassador’s Dinning Table”, featuring Vietnam’s food and drink culture.
The one-hour programme helped Japanese audiences gain a better understanding of Vietnamese cuisine as well as the country’s 4,000-year history via its unique cultural items, such as the Ngoc Lu kettledrum, Uncle Ho’s memorial house, traditional musical instruments, paintings and photography.
The film also quoted the Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan, Nguyen Phu Binh, as saying that Vietnam and Japan are building a strategic partnership, which will be further strengthened in the future. Vietnam has undergone wars, and the Vietnamese people have a burning desire to maintain peace and build a prosperous country.
