Japan’s NHK television on October 12 carried news on the Japanese Film Week, which officially began in Hanoi on October 11 as part of the 35th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

The five-day event was co-organised by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During the week, Vietnamese audiences will have a chance to watch famous Japanese movies and cartoons. In particular, the world-famous cartoon Doremon was screened after the opening ceremony.
