Francesca Patanè and Marco Chingari are famous not only in Italy but across the world for performing musical works by the Italian composer Verdi.

Chingari said that he was really delighted at the warm welcome he received from the Hanoi audience although opera music is not very popular in Vietnam.

During the performance, both singers also sang solos by other famous composers such as Giodano, Verdi, Bizet and Leoncavallo with a piano accompaniment.

The concert, in celebration of the capital’s millennial anniversary, was jointly sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Centre Performing Arts.
