The ballet performance is co-organised by the Italian Embassy, the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture and Information, to celebrate the 60th founding anniversary of the Italian Republic.

The Balletto Del Sud, one of the most famous and innovative dance groups in Italy, has travelled and performed throughout Italy and many other countries in the world.

Founded in 1995, the troupe has been directed by Fredy Franzutti, who is also the choreographer of more than 20 ballets of the troupe, including classics such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Sheherazede.

The ballet performance in Hanoi will feature the spirit of Italian culture through modernised versions of traditional dances.
