An ecology exhibition is being held in the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi from May 5 to June 6 by an Italian architect and architectural commentator, Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi.
The exhibition features works designed by 20 young Italian architects under the theme of "relations among people, architect and environment".
Architectural works, presented in three houses unique to Vietnamese ethnic groups, show close ties with natural factors like earth, water and sun. They seek to improve relations between humans and the environment, which is highly respected.
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Social Sciences Institute Tran Duc Cuong said that deep harmony with the environment is an important characteristic of Vietnamese ethnic people’s traditional way of living.
