According to the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam, the Israeli art troupe will perform at Melia Hotel on May 12 and Youth Theatre on May 13.

During the stay in the capital city, Israeli artists will also attend a master class at the Hanoi Music of Conservatoire on May 13.

Oy Division is considered a “traveling museum”, recreating and bringing back to life the nearly extinct pre-world war II Jewish music which is a blend of Jewish wedding music, folk songs and songs from the Yiddish Theatre. Their melodies are a mix of sorrow and joy.
