Two Israeli puppeteers Nathalia Rosenthal and Tsipor Frumkin will introduce a show “Nhung con thu mo mong” (dreamy animals) at the Hanoi Children Palace on February 20. The show will then join a contest at the Central Puppet Theatre in Hanoi on February 21.
Train Theatre, one of the most important art organisations in Israel, took part in many international puppetry festivals inside and outside the country.
This is the first time Israeli puppetry will be introduced in Vietnam. Last year, the Vietnamese puppetry art troupe attended the International Festival of Puppet Theatre in Jerusalem and left deep impressions on the audiences at the event.
On the occasion, the Israeli Embassy in Hanoi will present gifts and organise an exchange between Israeli artists and Vietnamese Agent Orange children in Hoa Binh (Peace) Village in Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan district on February 18.
