The International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Championships – Hue 2012 will take place in central Thue Thien - Hue province from August 18-26.
More than 130 young athletes under the age of 18 from 22 countries and territories will participate in men’s and women’s singles and doubles events during the competition.
Chih-Chun Tang from Taiwan (China) is the top seed in the men’s singles category, followed by Vietnamese player Ly Hoang Nam.
German Ann-Christin Nilson, ranked 478th in the world junior standings, is the number one seed for the women's singles.
Huynh Phi Khanh is the only Vietnamese woman taking part in the tournament.
