Under the decision, Vietnam’s international standard university will be a foundation to train students, masters and doctors and to study high-quality science and technology in Vietnam on par with advanced standards in the region and the world.

The university will apply modern methodology in education and research activities as well as in personnel management and operate under the competitive and non-profitable mechanisms. The university is assigned to manage, train, and conduct scientific research as well as personnel training and financial management.

The university has co-operated with the world’s leading universities in the field of training and research.

The Prime Minister will approve a feasibility study on university restructuring in the near future.
